The Bouches-du-Rhône department offers a unique blend of varied and colourful landscapes, such as Mount Sainte-Victoire, which inspired Paul Cézanne.
With the city of Arles to the west, bordering the Gard and overlooking the Rhône, the department offers magnificent panoramas with the Camargue Natural Park and its unique fauna: horses, pink flamingos, bulls and cistudes, among others!
To the north is the Alpilles Regional Park, offering unspoilt nature and famous for the olives of the Baux-de-Provence valley. To the east, stay in Aix-en-Provence or near the Calanques National Park, below Marseille.
