This little corner of paradise is located in Vaucluse, 2 km from the village of Rustrel and 40 km from your Olydea Montbrun-les-Bains residence.
What is Colorado Provençal?
Colorado Provençal has landscapes comparable to those of a western with these old ocher quarries similar to canyons. These formations, sculpted by erosion and transformed by man over the years, present an impressive variety of reliefs. Discover the impressive palette of colors of the cliffs, ravines, peaks, caves and promontories; from pale yellow to bright red, including shades of brown, orange, green and mauve.
How to visit it?
To visit it, two options are available to you. Take the Sahara circuit (2.1km – 40 minutes) or the Belvédères circuit (3.9km – 1h45). During the walk you will be able to discover the unusual places which make the place charming: the Sahara, the White Desert, the Fairy Chimneys…
The site is open from February to December, but pay attention to the opening hours which vary depending on the month. Also note, from May to September, reservations are required.
If you go there by car, motorbike, camper van... a paid car park is at your disposal, that of Mille Couleurs.
