The Minervois PDO

The Minervois PDO is produced in the south of France, in the heart of the Languedoc. It is born thanks to a Mediterranean climate with oceanic influences and some harsh winters in altitude. Winegrowers can produce white, rosé or red wine according to the rules imposed by the PDO.

Many vineyards open their doors in the heart of the Aude to teach you more about wine making, their know-how and to let you taste their wines.

The vineyards near our residence of Château de Jouarres ★★★ in Azille :

Château de la Bastide in Escales, a vineyard certified HVE3 since 2019 and on the way to converting to organic since 2021. They produce white and red wines and offer to discover them during visits and tastings at the castle, morning walks with breakfast, friendly picnics at the edge of the vineyards ...
Domaine Sibille in Laure-Minervois, a vineyard producing red, rosé and white wines. They propose three wine tourism offers: the secrets of wine making in the cellar, the vines through the seasons and an initiation to wine tasting.

The IGP Charentais

The IGP Charentais is produced in the heart of Poitou-Charentes. Several geographical mentions are given to the wines such as Île de Ré, Île d'Oléron or Saint-Sornin. Red, white and rosé wine as well as cognac are produced in the area.

The program includes a bike ride or electric car tour with vineyards as your only backdrop, a picnic prepared by the vineyard at the Moulin Blanc de Rosnay, and a return visit to the estate to tour the cellars and learn about the vineyard's history. Domaine des Granges in Les Sables-d’Olonne welcomes you from Monday to Saturday to discover its world and its four wine ranges: the "Au bord de mer" discovery range, the "Voyage océanique" gastronomic range, the "A contre-courant" singular range and its fine bubbles "Déferlante".

The Côtes de Provence AOP

The Côtes de Provence AOP, a perfect fusion of two major geological formations, limestone and crystalline rock, allows for the creation of delicious red, rosé, and white wines.

Upon entering the vineyard, you'll see numerous demijohns filled with wine, basking in the sun, and learn more about this little-known method.
