Fleury / Saint-Pierre-la-Mer
For many of our visitors, this really is the epitome of a family seaside resort ! Welcome to Saint-Pierre-la-Mer, the most northerly seaside resort in the Aude department. On one side, the beach extends to Etang de Pissevaches and on the other to Port Brossolette at Narbonne-Plage. And in the middle is our holiday residence Le Neptune ! Swimming, sunbathing, beach volleyball with your friends or beach tennis with your children, anything goes!
Do you want to spend a relaxing afternoon on the sand with water sports on the waves and swimming in a heavenly setting? Then head for Narbonne-Plage, "the resort with 300 days of sunshine a year" ! From Gruissan-Plage to Saint-Pierre-la-Mer, the big Narbonne beach extends for over 5 km, with the Massif de la Clape mountain in the background. It's hard to imagine a more beautiful setting for a seaside holiday.
20 minutes away from our holiday residence Le Neptune, Gruissan is a Mediterranean seaside resort that is more than a match for its neighbours in the Aude region. With its beachside chalets on stilts, Gruissan is THE picture-postcard scene, a dream spot for laying down your beach towel! The "plage" (beach) to be: Chalets beach, which was picked by Jean-Jacques Beinex as a location for his famous film Betty Blue.
Naturally beautiful! With eight beaches at the foot of the cliffs or nestling in the pine forest and its little unspoilt creeks with crystal-clear waters, Leucate-Plage has something for everyone. It's no fluke that the resort's beaches are regularly rated as some of the most beautiful in France! Our favourite: Coussoules and Franqui beaches.
The oldest of the seaside resorts on the Aude coast, Port-la-Nouvelle has 13 km of golden sand that make it a regular favourite with holidaymakers each year. The seafront beach is the most popular, with games for children, a sailing school, free activities and restaurants if you're feeling peckish after your swim. Need we say more?
This seaside resort is famous for its medieval village and sparkling salt marshes. La Palme is also well known for its unspoilt beaches at the edge of Corbières Maritimes. Between Port-la-Nouvelle and Leucate, Rouet beach is one of the few beaches on the Aude coast where you can still believe you are all alone in the world. If you love wide-open spaces and freedom... then look no further, you've come to the right place!
